Russell joined YouGov in 2007, starting in the Digital, Media & Technology insight team before progressing to lead the sector. He has designed and delivered major industry tracking studies on mobile broadband, smartphone adoption, IoT, and on-demand content. 

He now heads YouGov’s UK Client Services team, overseeing projects across Consumer, Retail, Financial Services, Pharma, Reputation, Digital, Media, Tech, and Automotive sectors. 

His expertise spans consumer demand, market trends, customer satisfaction, loyalty, and new product development. 

An experienced speaker and published author, Russell has presented at conferences in automotive, telecoms, tourism, and media, and written on topics including IoT, social media, wearables, and smart devices.
