Flight Information / Air Tickets​
Your E-tickets will be sent out a week before the trip. As you are travelling on a group ticket you are not able to check in online in advance. You will be travelling in Club Europe class.​

Passports​
To enter Morocco, your passport must have at least 3 months validity beyond your stay (expiry AFTER 16 July 2026).

Please note – This guidance is for UK passport holders only. Passengers from other countries should check with the necessary Government department for travel information.​

Visas​
UK passport holders do not need a visa to enter Morocco.

Baggage Allowance​
Your checked-in luggage allowance with British Airways Club Europe is 2 x 23kg bags per person. All electrical appliances and any sharp objects must be packed in your checked luggage.​

On board the aircraft you are permitted to take 1 piece of hand luggage weighing up to 10kgs and within the dimensions of 23 x 36 x 56cm, as well as a small bag that can fit under the seat in front of you. You must be able to lift your case into the overhead locker by yourself.​

When travelling from London Gatwick or Heathrow, the liquids restrictions in hand luggage have changed. You may now carry liquids of up to 2 litres per container in your hand luggage and are not required to take liquids or electronics out of your bags for security screening. However, for the return journey Marrakech airport still have the strict 100ml per liquid rule. All such liquids must be in individual containers no greater than 100ml capacity and all containers must be carried in one transparent, sealable bag with maximum total capacity of 1 litre.​

Please ensure all bags are clearly labeled with your​ full name in CAPITAL letters.​

Climate​
April in Marrakech brings beautiful spring weather with warm, sunny days and cooler evenings. Average daytime temperatures will be around 24-27 degrees celsius. The evenings can be cooler so a light layer is advisable.

Electricity​
Morocco uses the same type of two round pin plugs as most of Europe, on a 220V / 50Hz frequency. An adaptor will be required for any electrical appliances from the UK. There are plug adaptors in the rooms at the Four Seasons, but not at the desert camp so we suggest you bring your own adaptors.

​Gratuities / Tipping​
All gratuities throughout the programme will be covered by Volvo.​ For any services outside of the programme, tipping is customary in Morocco and if you would like to leave a tip, 10% is generally appreciated.

General Health & Medication​
While there are no specific vaccinations required for entry into Morocco, all travellers should be up to date with routine vaccinations including diphtheria, tetanus, polio and Hepatitis.​

Language​
The primary language of Marrakech is Moroccan Arabic, known as Darija. Modern Standard Arabic and Amazigh are also official languages and French is widely used in business.

Local Time​
All timings shown in the itinerary are local timings. ​
Morocco does not observe daylight saving and therefore is the same time zone as the UK during the summer months. 

Money​
The currency is the Moroccan Dirham (MAD) and the current exchange rate is £1 = MAD12.32 as of 27/02/2026.​

​All food & drink included in the itinerary will be covered so you will only need minimal spending money for anything you want outside of the itinerary, such as spa treatments and gift shop items. Anything you have at the hotel can be charged to your room and settled with credit/debit card on check out.​

Personal Expenditure & Incidentals
Any extra costs you incur during your stay must either be settled on the spot or will be charged to your room account. Please make sure you settle your personal room account on departure from the hotel.​​

Smoking is not permitted in the bedrooms or in public areas, only outside where indicated. ​​

What to Pack / Dress code​
The whole trip is fairly relaxed with casual dress code during the day and smart casual in the evenings. Pack for warm days with a light outer layer for the evenings.
